My current grille is dented in a few spots. In general it's ok but I have had a few people comment "Chong you need a new grille"

Here's a pic:

Hmmm i dunno... I think I will just leave it as is :)

Instead of a new grille, how about painting your wheels silver?

Those were my old wheels, I now have even more bling wheels and A008's. Also note that my cobra racing seat was not yet in and it still had an antenna. That was still with the old engine and no bonnet straps Lots has changed since then Will

But grille has remained the same

The one that 1018cc made, is suprisingly nice. It would work as a temperary or just for fun really.

Thanks slinkey - whenever I do something I take my time to do it right the first time and sometimes I think it pays off. Didn't look too bad in but the thing I hated about it most was that I have an external release bonnet.

It would have looked so much better if it didn't have that rectangle cut out of it to fit your fingers through.

Here is some pics of my car with it in. Since the last time it was in I have fitted a new moustace and this one doesn't have the same curve in it that the old one did. With the old one it fitted perfectly. Here are some pics to give you a bit of an idea.

Please excuse my dirty car.

And before anyone says anything, yes it is being held on by household twist ties, it was secured with screws when I was actually driving with it last time.

That looks cool , needs a chrome strip/channel running all the way around though to make it look "finished" .

Good but unfinished, yes, a chrome strip across it with an 'M' would look awesome.

Pretty good for 30 bucks worth, or so!!!

Lillee - I think she deserves a nicer grille, it's just too damaged, really detracts from the look of the car, like dented bumpers.

Appart from that, she's fine looking mini. :D

Yeah see the above pic, it actually doesn't look bad. Nice with a chrome border and maybe a Type R badge on it  (was only kidding)

for $30 it's not bad looking actually... AND can remove in 30 secs with grille buttons...

hrmmm
