You are coming to a sad realisation; cancel or allow?

Allow.

Reminds me how much fun I had with Apprentices and charged up Condensors.

Not with their Ass's though!

Its a sad reality but thats why my minis are not daily drivers :(
If parked in a public place they are always within sight or the wife waits in the car

I'd rather enjoy my car than live in the fear that it might get damaged and not be able to drive it whenever I want.

I use mine as a daily driver. I figure if someone wants to mess with it, then so be it, i'll deal with the problem if and when it happens. I'd rather enjoy driving it and not worry than keep it locked up in a garage for casual runs once a week.

It's a tough subject this one.

Yes, I like to drive my mini and have been doing so to work (at a pub) for over a year now, never an issue, but I always park it outside of a window where I can see it, or at least where the girls at the bar can see it. I did once catch some kids trying to climb on it, and their dad was there, he didn't say a thing  , I ran outside and they cleared off.

But the other part of me would rather still own it for occasional drives so I wouldn't come back to the car after shopping or work to find my mini on it's side, dented and smashed, never to be driven again. That's of course worst case scenario. Or I guess stolen and worst case (common case if it stolen) torched.

Hmmm.... I'm going to keep driving it to work, but after catching some kids trying to lift a mates mini by the wheel archs  , no more parking her in the hidden school carpark anymore. Learn from you mistakes.
