i had one of those cardboard maccas cup holders in the dash, would hold small cokes and coffee,

the most technical thing i has in my car is the dash which tells me if i have no fuel pressure, no cooling fan or no oil presssure which is a light and buzzer, that and the cd player with my rubber ducky antenia that look like a tail

mmmm, stack dash- very nice.

Definitely would have preferred no antenna but the hole was there already...
It's mounted on the LHS pretty close to the back of the panel, it clears by heaps.

It seems the mini community is polarised on this subject :)

Camp A;
You have the I would rather get a back crack and sack wax before I even put an AM radio in there car camp.
Camp B;
The camp who would gladly mod a mini so that it was Optimus Primes second cousin and kicked just as much A$$.

I started in camp B and moved towards camp A.. but have backed off to a point where I will gladly mod my mini as long as from the outside no one can see it and from the inside you have to look hard to find it or at least it should look like it belongs there.

That car is very nice. It belongs to Cam (miniac) and Karen in Victoria.

Look out for it in a coming mini world.

yeah miniac sounds familiar..

my opinion is classic minis should stay classic minis, not become optimus prime's second cousin... :lol:

theres plenty of honda's and the like for that.

clubby's are okay to mod, and rovers are okay too.

Will measure 1/4 mile time and speed. 60ft time. Accel G's plus lateral G's.

Mines sitting in the console of my XR6T. Consistent 14.5's at 170 kph.

The new version basically tells you everything including the amount of semen in your sack. Its a pretty smart device.

I've got the same one in my Mini, but have never been able to find 1/4 mile of road guaranteed fuzz-free.
So, I have NFI what my 1/4 mile time or 0-60 is, with 130+HP... :cry:

I'm about to run a car pc... i've bought all the bits and waiting to save some cash to get my interior done... but basically it's a car pc with a 12vdc powersupply with a 2ghz process a gig of ram.. runs all my gps navigation + 400GB hdd for music and wifi so i can send songs from my room to the car while it warms up... all running off a 7" touch screen with fibre optic out to an audio processor then into a 5channel rockford amp with jl splits subs and 6x9s...
in the next coming months hopefully ill get the interior done then hopefull ill get it all installed but it's been bench tested and is running like a charm!

who only knows what it'll do once in a mini!
