Hey Mick

I wouldn't have thought the red broadspeed is any where near being a clubman bum, it looks a completely newly fabricated section to me.

As a clubman has almost the same bum as a roundie (if not the same) except for tail lights (even the boot lid is the same) this can't be like a clubman.

Cheers
Steve :D

This is the bum that Roy Haynes wanted the Clubman to have.

Curiously, both seem to have Australian doors.

Certainly NOT Australian doors, but similar with quarter-vents.

They thought they were being smart having full-width wind-up windows - very modern. They don't have the heat that we do, and our wind-up windows are deffinitely better for our weather.

Watto.

Indeed, they don't have the stainless triangle bit in the front corner. I should have looked closer. A bit like the innocenti ones, but fitted to external hinged doors.

I thought such comments were outlawed on here. I think what you mean is "The rear styling proposed by the esteemed Mr Haynes complements his 'courageous' styling for the front of the vehicle.".

If you ever watched "Yes Minister", 'courageous' meant the same as 'stupid idea'.

I am sure if one was to contact Fred Seyers and show him the $$$$$ dollars $$$$$ he will be interested. These things cost a lot of money to get off the ground and because there would not be many in demand because of the cost involved nothing gets done about it. I think any one with serious interest should contact Fred and see what he can do. Remember Fred is now retired and does not do much any more. Maybe he will have a price on the Molds that someone with good intentions would be interested in. Worth trying I recon.
