Personally, I use the flashlube aswell, with any one of either BP Ultimate, Mobil Synergy or the new Caltex Vortex 98. My beast runs equally well on all three of those fuels. I have been told by many to avoid Optimax - not sure why, but My car (and a few others I know) runs like a dog on Optimax. Doesn't matter - a heap of servos are selling the 98 octane premium now - they have a spare pump since they don't have to sell LRP anymore. It looks really funny now going to a servo and having a choice of 3 different unleaded fuels!!

I am testing a few in Pops, with Flashlube. I found teh Vortex was OK, but now I am running Optimax and I find it runs smoother with this.

I reckon Ultimate is the best :D

I get mine from BP servo's, not all of them have it. Most if not all servo's have some kind of lead repleacement additive. to start with, buy a couple of the little bottles, then when you have a few empties, buy a big bottle and refill your little bottles. cheaper this way! little bottles can cost $4, but the big bottle i got was $11, got 4 little bottles out of it and only half way thru!!!

you buy the little bottles because it is easyer to measure how much you put in, they have the measurement on the side!

Started to use flashlube last week. Cleaned plugs with first tank of fuel and done about 500km since, pulled plugs out today and they are still clean as and it seems to be running a little better.
Can highly recommend flashlube. :D
Cheers Pete

Been using Flashlube for 4 years now and both the AUIIIfairmont and mini are running better than ever before. I have the modified head for ULP but religiously place 30ml in the tank every refill.

The usual pissing contest as to which fuel is better, shell optimax and BP Ultimate are all blended to the same recipie at the same place in Sydney - there is no diff between the two of them apart from the pump colour and the dye used in both(absolutely none!)- I like yellow personally but I get petrol from either. I hated BP up until recently when they were the only place selling a hi octane ULP - I must admit it is ok

Guns up - ready for fire
