that's a clubman estate with a round front on it... short and chopped, I hope it was a rusted wreck!

How do you know that it was a clubman?

no door hinges - clubman estates were the only vans to get internal door hinges. I guess it could be van with a sedan front grafted on... or a sedan with a van on the back....

but the trim around the back windows is the right sort for a traveller/clubman estate

It's a flip front, so would have been a Clubman estate given the difficulties in lengthening a car.

<edit> Having looked at it, it's also been shortened so there goes that theory. I'd still say it's an estate that's been hacked.

Custom cars are always going to invite criticism which isn't really fair but a few things which I don't like.

1. The mirrors are on upside down
2. Why move the front indicators onto the grille in an amateur fashion? Also rubber bungs for the alternate wiper positions and old aerial?
3. The rear lights could have been done flash with the panels and looked a lot better, and
4. the rear lights up there make the back look too bare.

Having said that, I love the roof chop and the job looks from here to be a well done piece of work. Not entirely my taste but I'm sure he loves it. Which is the whole point.

well done over all.

thats sad about the mini above so much work has gone into it just to have it burned to the ground.
