For big fat lazy american V8 I would go with a 65 Chevy Impala with a 327, Oh how i loved driving my old housemates one AND it was an aussie delivered one too factory RHD.
Longeroom on wheels, you had no choice but to take up two carparks or you couldn't get out :D . I would have one in a heartbeat.

I'm reminded of this part of a certain song reading this thread:

The Mini is my first car, its a slow 4 cylinder. Ive progressed up to a turbo charged 6 cylinder which is to fast for the street. So I was keen to give a slow V8 a try and use it as a comfy cruiser. When i say "slow" i would still want a minimum of 350ci with a cam/holley and decent exhaust. I want another old car so I have something to tinker with or improve.

Jensen Interceptor MkIII, possibly a bit rare and pricey though...

I understand your issue Hanra. I don't really want my moke any more and I don't really want my MX-5. What I want is a good track day car and a nice weekend car. The 5 is too slow and heavy on the track and is to girly for a weekender. The Moke is just too slow and fragile for the track.

I would like to sell both and build my own special for the track but just couldn't bear selling the Moke for what it would fetch. I also couldn't deal with having no car at all while I built the special. But without selling two cars, I can't afford to build the special. Catch 22.

Oh, and if your car is for sale for $10k, I'm in.

Yeah well its all just a waste of time. Im obviously asking to much for my ute as people have pointed out. But im not going to give it away, I bought it for $30k 1 1/2yrs ago, and in the last 6mths or so ive sunk$10k into it on mods. So ill probably just keep it. Same with the mini, sink a bucket load of cash into it and get $10k for it. I think ill just forget about selling either of em and just buy a bloody house....

P.S. Ive got plenty more pics of "big brown baby seal eyes for headlights"!!! hahaha.
