David, no one is disputing that the concept of a 8 port head is a bad thing. But the question remains, do they work well on a road going N/A motor, which is what I have asked. no one wants to have to pull 10k to get power on a motor and have it last 500kms.

I'll ask you as well if you would be so kind as to explain how a "Layman" would research a head as being "Good" for there purpose. I've asked it to all the experts so far with no answer. Please if you would be so kind to tell me how to go about getting the right information to make an informed choice.

Cheers mate

Aaron

O.K. A couple of questions

1 What capacity engine do you run
2 What is the maximum revs it pulls
3 What cam timing do you run ie. inlet v/v closing
4 what is the best bench air flow you can get thru a worked mini head at temp and pressure
5 What compression ratio does it have[ nominal or effective]

Geez, on and on and on.
I dont want to lock this because I am involved... it wouldnt be right.

My comments were clear, since its becoming 'personal' I will very simply explain my point on ALL of the threads regarding the twinky.
This has NOTHING to do with respect, etc... jesus storm in a teacup or what!

I ONLY wanted to offer Matt the opportunity to dyno the engine on GRs engine dyno.
I offered this to Matt and got a "Thanks heaps but No thanks" at the time, Matts 1275 twinky was finished (or thats how I understood it anyway)

Since it all came up again, and figures were being throw around I came back into it and again said get it on the dyno - the offer is still there.

THATS ALL!

My comments to Feral were simply saying "Pull your head in and dont bait Aaron about the UK comments" My comments to Aaron were make it clear what your after (which is information and a laymans explanation as to what to look for in a good head)

If anyone reads old posts of mine or actually if Matt would honestly admit, my PMs to him and my posts were all positive. I dont know what the thing will produce torque wise... but I DO want to know. When he first started developing I was PM'ing him about it.

Jeez, its simple... as I said in other posts, not sure what the prob is with 'pristic's comments' etc.

The mods dont have laws of their own... dont start all that crap either.

I got past it, Matt sees that and I have said I wont bother him anymore until the thing is finished - no matter when that is.
Again ill say Its a miscommunication about getting it on the dyno - until TODAY! I thought he had a completed motor ready for dyno. Now I know thats not the case...

Everyone else, stay positive and dont add fuel to the fire...

Pete
