Sorry wrong colour, it needs to be red. IMO you have to change it :!: If it has a stripe that goes all the way over the car it will help with the down force, centre of balance and increase the operational output of the newly installed flux capacitor which will also help the car stay painted red

Why do people who know next to nothing about repair and maintainence of Minis consistantly reply to post giving out advice?
It would be good if they could leave it to the few who do actually know what they are talking about
I have been caught out on a number of occasions taking the advice of so called experts only to find that I have been led up the garden path!

What is the answer to this problem?
:?

Camp Freddy , I have just looked through all of your 21 posts and can't see where you've asked for advice to have gotten the wrong information , or do you mean where someone has asked for info on their car and you've followed it as well ?

camp freddy wrote:
Yes, information gathered from other posts and questions from others.

:? So camp freddy, what is the problem/s that you have?
With your car i mean i dont want you to get confused like a certain troll called "captain spacepants" or what ever he calls himself these days.
The more info you are able to give the better, such as what you have tried etc, etc........dont be shy we dont bite...... ok most of us dont bite.......
See the fun with these cars is that there may be one major symptom but it could be a couple of small things causing the major problem. Now dont forget that all the information supplied here is to help you get to the bottom of the fault but its very hard to help anyone without any input!

yep but on closer inspection

it is definitely the whojimeyflip
have a close look and you will see that it isn't meshing correctly with the Doodat and hence the thingamebob wont engage the whatsit correctly.

try fixing that and she will run perfectly

by the way you will need the special BMC left-handed open ring size13/6ths spanner

BMC tooled 13/6ths open ring left handed spanners

I hear you are offering 45% off these items

that would be deliverd to Canberra

Cheers

Gadgets

yeah no worries...........
Your "special' price will depend on the way in which the black sparrow flies in a 75 knot north wind while flying in an east north easterly direction with and erection from an african elephant hanging from its mouth for its nest......
Oh have you seen the Loch Ness Monsters wife?

Anyways that tool is $245.85 inc gst.
Freight to your door is at your own cost......
These are melbourne companies
Try either
(03) 9351 0511
or
(03)9646 6060

yeah got the quote

can you throw in a pic of the bird

As you can see through the canopy the magnificent Black Cooper Sparrow in the final part of its mating ritual releasing a cloud of gas, this is a byproduct of its diet of Parts Berrys , its more commonly known as Lucas Smoke.

but its a perfect example which is bought up millions of times not just hear but at any workshop u work into...

u need to remember that u could have all the knowledge in the world on minis and 9/10 u will get the right answer BUT!!... when sorting out a problem on a car and asking someone who cant see/hear/smell or feel the problem, u will generally end up with the wrong answer from time to time, especially if its something like my mini wont start or run...

there could be over a 100 things wrong with it for not starting, but for someone over the net to say to u, this is the problem is bullsh*t. many times i have asked for advice over this forum and many times alot of the problems i have never solved even with the advice from here, ive had to send it to a mini shop and have them say ahh yes its this....

its all trial and error when taking advice over the net, and basicly the best way to work out the correct answer is to think about the problem and think about the answers u got... and then use the answers that would more then likely relate to the problem....

just my 2c

is that like my engine is vibrating - should I sell the car?

Thats why its needs to be red.......you dont have to use that earth strap to the spare wheel, red ones dont need it because they have a flux capacitor with massive output and extra zoom zoom gererated by the vortex of extra whoosh due to the flux capacitor exciter zenner diode that comes from the recipricating motion of the rubber shaft that has been fitted to your seat base for your enjoyment as you go over bumps etc!!
Anyways Gadgets will be able to give you more information about the rubber shaft that he has fitted to all his vehicles for the recipricating motion to enhance his flux capacitor operation.
