I was quoted that it did not meet ADR31. Whatever that is I suppose I better Google that and see what it says. :shock:

ADR 31 - Brake Systems for Passenger Cars
is not applicable to pre 1989 cars (or current cars for that matter).

You are talking about fitting them to a mini? Then you only need to comply with the ADRs of the time it was built.

Thanks Mate.

Reading the ADR's was making my brain melt!
They are going on a 1970 Cooper S. Am trying to source alloy swing arms too. Then I will need is an alloy motor :idea:

The factory did actually make at least 1 alloy A series around late 60's early 70's 8) pitty they didn't fully develop it. :(

Morrie, Nfi. I will obviously have to start looking around and see what I can do.

The 5 speed box is OK, new 1/2 SU's OK, change from hydro to solid???? Change to rear brakes???? What about alloy rear arms???

Too many freakin' ??????
