Are you getting spark at the distributor end of the coil lead?
Cheers Pete

so I pulled everything apart and put it all back together again. Im getting a spark but it is a wee one. Getting it from the coil lead and then once popped into the dizzy from the spark plugs.

I think the sparks may be small as the battery may be on its way out. I had it on the trickle charger when doing those tests and it doesn't seem to give a punchy charge for more than one or two cranks. What else do you smarter humans' think?

(thanks for everyone's assistance so far!)

David
