Ive just used the flush/water and ran the engine and heater for 20mins like recommended on the bottle.

Should I drain it out tonight once its cool or will it do any damage sitting in cooling system??

Molasses and water mix (when stripped) will fix it too, but not if it's greasy in there. Read up on molasses, it's amazing stuff.

My dad when he restored a T model had a drum full of Molasses and water
to drop in the seized and rusted bits into. Leave them in for a few days and came out totally rust free.
Black strap mollasses... yep... exactly the same stuff they feed to horses and cows
is extremely good for your health...100 x better then any vitamin pill and a
tiny fraction of the cost.....yummmy!

Ok thanks dr. What do they do if its greasy?

If real cruddy you can send to a place like redistrip. They really clean them out good with chemicals, but are getting expensive now.

Otherwise take to an engine reco shop and ask them to put it in the hot (caustic?) tank. This will get all the grease and paint off

Then if it's still got much rust in there, get some molasses, put it in a plastic tub as a 1 part molasses/3 parts water mix, and submerge the block for about 3-4 weeks.
Take it out once a week and hit it inside with a water blaster or hose nozzle.
Amazing how molasses works, the enzymes eat the rust. :P
