was thinking the same thoughts

this way the fuel rail is below the "carb" and out of sight
i'm going to use a set of twin carbs, i was thinking of hiding the fuel regulator in the bottom of a fuel bowl. this way the fuel enters one carb, goes to the injectors via the fuel rail and then to the regulator and out the remaining carb.

yep, same idea :)

you may run a returnless fuel pump setup. this way you have the regulator right by the pump and only one fuel line going to the engine

Have you all had a look at this site http://www.pattonmachine.com/
Essentialy makes a SPI (electronic carb) utilising your existing SU (HIF44 to come). Has adapters for throttle position sensors, and you can still have the SU bell on top keeping your original SU apearance! 8)

they look S H I T!
the whole point of what i'm trying to achieve is that the car has a standard carbie look when you open the bonnet, but has the benefit of EFI.

With all due respects, have you really looked carefully, and read my comments about placing the top of the SU back on the adapter see http://www.pattonmachine.com/Customer-Cars.htm for some pics 0f zeniths. :?

point taken.
i will say they are very well constructed.

however the point of the exercise is to build this ourself. its the research and development and problem solving, that goes into this type of project is what its all about.
