Forget the 1100S box- it's only a 3 synchro, and the ratios are crap for a Mini. :x
I'm using a Mk2 S box, with 3.64 diff now. :wink:

I'm running a Mk2 S head with bigger valves, the block has been drilled & tapped for the S rear stud and front bolt. They are worth having. 8)
1100S head (and the 1275LS head, 12G1316) can be drilled out for the extra holes. The head casting has metal there for this.
