Junk everywhere, no vacuum near 'em for ages. They look neglected. Get Russell Ingall onto 'em I reckon.

He did say "...or something like that.", so you might try Morris as well.

There is no VIN on an Australian Mini. VINs didn't start till a few years later. But the car number on the Sunshine is the same number as a normal Leyland Mini S. So there is no real way to tell a real Sunshine from a Mini S by the numbers.

But that car is not even a Mini S! It is a stock Leyland Mini just like the GT in the other ad.

Well, what an experience, All this talk on the forum about my car reminded me why I am a mini owner. The mini is a fantastic car, and the drivers are a rare breed. So, the auction is over, i didnt sell, and have proceeded to strip the mini down and do a complete rebuild. I didnt really want to sell it, was more like i was forced to sell, but to hell with that now. Im keeping My Mini. Hooray for me.
Thanks all for the experience

Yes Mini Owners are a true breed. We love our little cars for what they are, whether that is an 850, Deluxe, K, Cooper (and S) Clubman, or even Modified etc.

Hope you enjoy yours to the fullest too.

Yes.....and yes.......and you're welcome Rev.
This forum is full of nut cases and opinionated ratbags.
When you do your rebuild, you won't find a more knowledgeable, talented and helpful mob. So welcome on board.
