You learn something new every day!

I just had a look at my brochure and can see I have the later one. In mine the picture on page 6 is of the MK II Cooper S in monotone blue (i.e. no white roof) and Dunlop (I think) mag wheels. It appears to still have non-lift up door handles. The text to the left of the picture has a section called "Special Equipment Standard on the Cooper S".

On the back page the General Equipment sections lists front and rear seat safety belts. The publication numbers just below the BL logo on the back page are WJC-10M-5.71, WJC-5M-2.71 and WJC-10M-4.70. I assume they are version dates - April 70, Feb 71 and May 71.

Does anyone know what the WJC and 5M/10M stand for?

Is there a publication code/date on that brochure from the previous page of this thread?

I can scan and post mine on here if anyone is interested.

I have the earlier one like posted here and it has no publication numbers at all!

Mine has "On the Road $1861.60" written above the picture on the inside cover.

cheers

Jacob

Another thing I hadn't noticed previously is that the Cooper S came with tubes (all the other cars had tubeless tyres).

Sounds like Lancaster Motors had pretty high dealer delivery charges then, eh?
