An LPG (or MAPP gas) kit + air isn't really hot enough to braze with, but is fine for silver soldering.
I had oxy & acetylene for years but the ridiculous rental cost of the latter and the fact I hardly used it persuaded me to send it back to BOC even though it was 1/2 full.

I now use oxy + LPG, it can do everything the acetylene did except fusion weld steel (that's what the MIG is for :P )
It brazes joints cleaner than the oxy/acetylene did.
I swapped the old oxy cutting tip to an oxy/LPG one, and counterbored the welding tips to make them work with LPG.
