You forgot a few of the bottom end goodies - lightened and balanced Flywheel, crankshaft and rods balanced, cooper S clutch, ARP rod bolts and maybe a few other secrets... :D

hey Chris, if you are interested....my father in law has a 1100 that GR built. The head has had major surgery (a 'la GR). Not sure of the head casting #, but we are anxiuos to get this thing going, to see what its like!

If it's any small bore head, it won't fit a 1275... :lol:

But it's just a cheap rip off of a very british sticker... I prefer a whole new design rocker cover plate. Something in gold and green writing perhaps... it's got to be original!

Chong - that's the whole point, not a cheap ripoff, but a drmini customised version of the original. Abingdon ST used to have these "Rosettes" stickers for customers cars. Not everyone can put a plate on their rocker cover easily (ie ribbed alloy ones).

I say lets; get em done if the doc agrees...
