Winabbey, thanks kindly once again for your informative and helpful posting. I do like the fix to the inboard side of the subframe. It is easier to just go get another, however, this fix would be considerably improved from the original.

I see that they did have an alternative TA Pin, double drilled. I can see why these were eventually deleted.

Great photos John and Slacko. Shows the construction very well.

I recall that the subframe I had with the fabricated arms had the inner grease nipples on one side only! (I thought it was a dodgy repair!)
I probably would have kept it except it was very rusty and I didn't realise how rare these items were when I threw them out in the late 80s.

crickey Morry,,, back then we all thought they were all going to be around for a hundred years,,, now we know it`s only john & Doc who have been around for a hundred years & all the early rare mini parts are nearly long gone :-)
