yea, the best thing to use is the plastidip primer, it dosent come off tho but its the best to use on an unpainted car, im not sure why he put primer on over the paint which looked pretty good, but there's always 1 in a crowd which help heaps to do it right. a guy here in adelaide said he could plasti an entire car but it was gonna cost $2500 :O i think doing it with pressure packs would be under $200

i do like the look of blaze orange, if he didn't have the bits of black tho it would be a major eye sore.

let me know if you can get a good deal on it once your setup as id been keen as a bean to try with an electric spray to compare with pressure packs

reckon I might give it a go once my bodywork's done, love the idea of matte colours and being able to change it when I want.

just need to remember to tell DOT and insurance when I change colours..

sorry guys been away for couple of days, im not using spray cans.. im using 3.75 ltr tins and electronic sprayer.

i can do a whole mini in one day for about $1000. that includes paint and my time.

this weekend im paint my parents vw caddy van in matte black and ill be experimenting with the colours over the next few months. i have also purchased a colour mix kit, because from what ive been told the fluro colours look great but fade very quickly however having said that im trying to see if i can use bright greens, yellows and orange in matte colours and hopefully they dont fade as quick.

like i said if you are interested and you either want my help or want me to do the job for you buy all means PM me. ive already bought the gear to do it, just a matter of using it.
