Ok will do.

I have a receipt that was included in the sale (the mini has a rebuilt 1275 +040 in it now) from Barth Bros engine rebuilding in Karratha which had listed (with the other items) this block being stripped and inspected.

So I called the guy i bought the mini off and he said that Barth Bros said that it would need sleeves and turned out cheaper to buy another 1275 and go with it. However the other then needing sleeves the head/crank etc were all good.

I wouldn't mind betting that the engine number was re-stamped by a race team or race engine builder. (D? C? Racing 0022 if that makes any sense)

What is the block? Does it have side covers a solid block without side covers? (it isn't an 1100S block from the photos)
