Hi There,
I bought my mini Cooper S in 1980, shell and some other bits (thankfully no rust). Started work on it at the turn of the Century (2000) with a total bare metal respray, still took me until 2014 to get going, with some help from friends in the last 6 months. So best of luck with your project.

Thanks Bubbacluby,

I'll definitely do a restoration thread.

So, is it still okay to ask questions in here? or is there a better section?

Jenna

PS. Do you have any 'postable parts' that would suit my mini? happy to pay postage

Jenna, just start your restoration thread and ask all your questions there...that way, its all in one spot. If you can put up pictures that can help with some questions (sometimes!).

Enjoy :D

or just ask a mod to change the title of this one to Jenna's Mini Restoration or similar  :D
