No older type, but that looks like the top would relocate, undo screws lift of cover turn to where it clears the extracotrs and do back up, easy

With the older type they were fitted to a variety of BMC cars and had to be able to swivel,

Elf had this done as the oulet pipe up to the carbies was resting against the extractors when I told Dave I couldn't use the fuel pump he laughed, when I asked why he told me what to do, I undid a couple of screws turned the top of the housing then put back on easy.

Although I haven't used the one pictured I would say its works the same. Electric pumps are asking for trouble especially with 40 year old wiring in the car, mechanical ones either work or don't, most old ones are full of crud rekit it and away you go for $20 bucks not $80.

PS use a fuel filter aswell

Anton, i have a proper stud remover, be very careful you don't do more damage to the stud removing it with the vice grips, you can use my stud remover, but you probably don't want to drive here to get it.

If it's broken the thread off and just the plain bit is showing, a stud remover may not work (depends on type).
My nice sharp Craftsman vice grips are here if U need 'em.. 8)
