Contessa nuts seat only on the chamfer inside the washer. The corners of the nut are not in contact and would have a slight chamfer too.

Just another update. I've looked over some detailed drawings and have given them the thumbs up for production.

With regards to pricing, they will be $140/set for the larger sized 3/4" or 19mm nuts. This includes 16 tapered washers.

With some teething problems and a lost batch, they are finally here.

As requested, these have been tapped a further 5mm (compared to original flat topped ones) to prevent them from bottoming out on our studs. These will also fit on longer studs, and studs with un-threaded portions protruding from the hub/flange.

The tapered washers are spares or replacements, and are NOT to be simply put on top of the existing ones already fitted.

Don't screw SS nuts on dry or they can pick up, use a little WD40 on em.
