Diff output shafts are different. Pot joint ones have a circlip to hold the "pot" on the output shaft

Make sure that the driveshafts you have match the pot joints. The pot joint driveshafts aren't compatible with the rubber uni or Hardy Spicer couplings. There should also be a long and short driveshaft

Both the pot joints and the drive shafts are matched. Came from the same gearbox.
Can I use second hand diff output shafts. They are readily available.
