Got it ready for the motorkhana in Deniliquin tomorrow, but it is pouring with rain now. Will it go ahead? I hope so. It will keep the dust down.

Found 1/2 an hour this afternoon to pull the twin SUs off the Cooper 997. I'm replacing the extractors with a new set for fun and stamps.

The underfloor pipe however is two inches shorter than the new extractor's collector pipe. So will need an extension welded on before I can complete the job...

Sounds like a perfect opportunity to fit a flexible joint, Mick ;)

The only thing I did to Our Daisy was adjust the rear brakes.

This weekend though Frednutz&co and I replaced two headgaskets on both his daughter's cars, Frankie and Nigel the Mongrel. Hope we've done it right :D

Guy's going to need to set the tappets again on Nigel but Frankie seems to be better.

Hmmm...what's the specs for a flex joint? How long should the flex part be? I mightn't yet, as I've got a remote gearbox and she's as steady as a rock with all the new stabilisers bushes and mounts, but I might have a think about it all the same...
