Posted 2 reconditioned racks up to TheMiniMan in Brisbane. I put them each in a 150mm dia x 980mm PVC tube with end caps. Post cost only $16.05 ea, sure beats courier pricing... if sending racks to and for. :P
Just need to watch the length- Ozpost's maximum is 1050mm.

This weeks small job was manipulating the new extractors into the 62 Cooper. Now she's got an all new exhaust from back to front. Rubber unis take some effort to get a set of LCBs around. But it wasn't too much labour to get them to fit.
This evening I'll get the manifold back on and flash her up sometime tomorrow perhaps...

Today i did some more rust hunting. Fortunately only a small bit of surface rust. I also got around to cutting out and patching some of the worst stuff.
I might even be able to think of doing some panel work soon.

I'd say 150 psi is pretty good, nothing to worry about.

Finished refurbishing the trailing arms.
Reconnected all the rear brake lines.
Continued stripping the engine bay paint
Finished the rod change remote and reinstalled into the car.
Removed 34 years of grease and hardened road grime from the rear subframe.
Repainted the rear suspension trumpets.

To do tomorrow:
- do the caliper piston insertions with new seals
- MORE paint stripping

Soon I have to work out the spagetti that is the engine bay electrics...

Hooroo

Noticed a fuel leak coming from the mechanical fuel pump yesterday. Had a closer look today and closed the bonnet again... Might fix it next week. :)

Got my wiring sorted in the engine bay, started attacking some rust, decided I should start a thread for my rebuild.
