Washed and polished and cleaned and scrubbed the road grime out of my mini for tomorrow.

Took the new tyres down to the tyre shop to be fitted onto the stock Cooper rims. Now the car's off mambas and back to standard wheels. I had been missing that look.

Oh, also put the roof rack back on

All garage work involves equal measures of enthusiasm, ingenuity and a fair degree of irresponsibility.

After 8 years of only being able to use the slow speed and having to maunaly park my 2 speed self parking wiper motor I finnaly rebuilt and refited it , all within an hour.
Now all I need to do is make a heater unit....

Fiddled with the length of the adjustable bottom engine steady - increased the effective length about ½" and got full range of movement back in the Magic Wand gear stick.

We got the starter to turn the engine over, the earth lead was not working ok last week.
The replacement fuel pump would not work either, will have to take old one apart and work on the points.
Hopefully will start next week.

Dint buy a rear strut brace (is strut brace an accurate term on mins?)
Was going to buy it but decided to get it on the way out of the VCMI mini show but of course it was gone by then.

My hungover mind was not working well on that decision.

Smoked up the whole Exhibition building when i started my car yesterday

Trailered my car back to Sydney in the rain.
Then washed and dryed before tucking it away in the garage until next outing
Greatly enjoyed Sunday mini expo. Bring on next year

Couldnt sleep this morning so I went down to the garage and wet sanded my bonnet and boot, ready for paint this evening.

Now im off to Newington Tyres and More to drop off the Image wheels for a set of A008's.
