Did Mini Meet West last week at Lake Tahoe on the California/Nevada border - address is Stateline Road and the State line runs right through the resort - the pool, the Imdian Room etc.

Grandson Kaden with my son Jeremy and daughter-in-law Quyen at Crater Lake Oregon

Soon to be 3 Kaden with Grizzly bear in Adin, Californis:

Hotel is at some 6,500 ft. elevation. We crossed an 8,900 ft. high pass getting to the lake. Rallye route straddled that pass and the Autocross was held at the Mt. Rose Main Lodge at 8,220 ft. elevation.

POOH staged at the Autocross:

Coming off the backside sweeper:

Several teams got into the Themed Concept for the Comcours:

Kaden's little head was spinning at all the Minis:

Cammo Moke & trailer that came from Florida:

Lake Tahoe some 900 miles from home:

On Sunday I made the 600 mile dash from Medford, Oregon to home in the Mini, while the rest overnighted in Vancouver, Washington so some shopping coiuld be done in Portland, Oregon's outlet Stores.

I loved lake Tahoe when I was working in Reno, NV. Water skiing there in summer, ice around the edge of it in winter.

He'll fit right in here, we worked a Reno winter in shorts and short sleeves. The rugged up locals all thought we were mad. :P

Steve, you do know I can fix the nose on those Mk1 shafts with a new bearing inner ring... same as I do with 4 synchro ones.
