Yeah, it does. I just have to tap a thread in the hole at each end then bolt it in.

Drove it.

I have averaged 100 miles / day for the past two days and the only thing that kinda need attention is to set the fast idle slightly faster. Other than that it hasn't missed a beat!

Got the restorer started and it runs so well. Didn't want to start last time as musta had some crap in the fuel when I refilled it. Disassembled some carb bits and checked them - it worked.

The other one which had been running great, decided it was too cold and didn't start :(

Machined the gutter rash off my recent $100 set of Contessas and polished the rims on the lathe with 240, then 600, then 1200 paper and RP7.
Next step, gurney the insides and paint strip them.

Had a poke around & look at engine steadies & master cylinder brackets on the off-chance I might be able to offer tips on another thread that's discussing such features, and discovered a small puddle (well a few drips, but it might as well be a puddle) of fluid which seems to be emanating from the base of the clutch master. :?

Hopefully it's just a case of a new gasket. Might as well replace the one under the brake cylinder as well, 'cos I'll need to muck around with the lines when I get around to fitting the booster I bought a while ago.

Haven't driven him for about a month, filled the tank,

Changed the clutch reservoir, all good!

Great to be back on the road in a classic Mini.

that'll keep me smiling for the rest of the day.

Been a while since I cranked it up, so intended to give it a blast today. Battery flat, barely wants to turn over. Ah well, got a charger hooked up to it now, so I'm going for a ride while it charges & I'll have another go when I get back.

Also juggled around to see if I can get the mountain bike in the back.

SUCCESS!!! So that means once it's back up & running & I go up to Buxton for MTB rides I can take the Brick and have fun on the way there and back as well. :D Black Spur, Acheron Way & bits around the back of the Dandenongs, here I come! 8)

Oil change for both Marcia & Morris. Also replaced the Coil & HT lead on Marcia and she now runs nice. Also took the radio out of Marcia for the start of the Music build Stay tuned

Cylinder head off the race car is all back together, had to get the valve seats recut in the head as all 8 were low on the the spark plug side! They were all "low" by a similar amount, not sure why that would be.

Anyway, alternator is done, carby is done, head is ready to go back on. Keen to get this running again as its not run since OZ50 Wakefield Park.

Also, changed the brakefluid yesterday.
