Hi Mick,

Thanks for your welcome message and email. :D Glad to know our site has been of interest to you. I see from some of the profiles a few cars that have come through us are still being enjoyed by their owners!!

Hopefully in the near future we will have some positive news on once again obtaining compliace approval for the Rover Mini. As you may know we are up against a few obstacles with gaining this however Im confident we will overcome these. As for telling you about the Rover Mini imports - is there anything in particular you or anyone else would like to know :?:

Good to hear from you Chris,

No nothing in particular, its just that being with the ACT Mini Car Club you often get asked where to buy Minis....sometimes Rovers.....there is also lots of interest in the market to check the value of cars .....I think we have 3-4 Rover Minis in the club ATM.

Now that you have had your free plug.....how about saying something about how you got into Minis and whether you have one as daily driver etc etc

Cheers :D

Hi all,

Sadly at present my daily driver is a Ford Transit van (it does have 1 MINI number plates if this helps :D ) I am waiting for another Mini to arrive to make into my drive car but we keep selling them. We have always had Mini's in the family and I was fortunate enough to be able to work doing something with a car I love. The past few years we have been concentraiting on the later model Rover Mini's as this is one way on ensuring their future here in Australia - apart from that I like to drive them. The favorite one I have had so far was a 1996 Rover Mini Cooper 35 in Almond green (alway been my fav colour but others arent so fussed) We fitted sports pack guards and wheels and did some suspension and exhaust mods and overall it was a great little car. Anyway its now in Tasmania with a lovely couple who treasure it.

As for questions or other info you require, let me know and I will do my best to help.

Hi!!

I'm in Brisbane, a friend of mine told me about this forum so I thought I'd pop in and join up!!

I've got a porcelain green 1963 850 saloon with original rego, I've had it since 1998...not in the best condition at the moment, but hopefully next year I'll be able to get it back up to a respectable level

Any other girls out there?
