Thanks Brad,
Stu and I had a great day. Appreciated you get our cars on early as I could not stay the full day.

The big, huge, enormous increase in the power from 21.8 HP on the first dyno day to 31.6HP proves that putting in the 1100 engine was a great investment, $200 for the Morris 1100, 30 bucks for oil and filters and $25 for the inspection for the eninge change.

I ask you who else increased their HP by more that 50%.

Thanks to Brad and all that attended.

Yes..but anton, readings at the flywheel are geniune and constant on an engine dyno ;)

You can get varied results on engine dyno's to josh, they can also fudge them for higher readings too.

An engine dyno is hard to fudge, unless the torque scale is wrong (it's checked with weights) or the tacho is wrong (it's calibrated regularly). I'd trust one ahead of any chassis dyno (a.k.a. rolling road)

Yes it was a great day, congrats to Brad and all who showed up.

Time for some excuses now, here's mine to start off..:
1. My jets were too lean...
2. I obviously didn't spend enough $$$$$ on my rebuild...

OK let 'em come... :P

needed to put new plugs in the car. did it when i got home... should have done it before i went..... oh well. probably needs a tickle on the timing too. she's all crackly up the top end, highly erratic, new plugs have settled it but still a little erratic. my guess is the carb, when i get my HIF44 back from bob it'll go on and see if that doesn't iron out the top end a little more
Besides, what do you expect for a $500 banger!
Bring on the MCC dyno day, i am very interested to see what the van does after my rebuild..... scary!
Cheers

Aaron
