Its official I've now reached the end of driving for 9 whole months wednesday 21st was the last day I could drive. I have to wait now til March 21st 2007 before I can legally get behind the wheel on public roads. As I've mentioned before this will allow me to fix repair and touch up everything possible on my car. My LS will be like a new car once I've done everything. I hope to get eh majority done for Mini's Down Under (Dad driving). I'll be posting update pics especially as soon as I get my car back from the smash repairs cause thats the first thing on the list. For those of you who havn't read the post about it basically imagine carpark toyota landcruiser Mini driver door and reversing into the door.

Good luck with the non-driving time , hope it passes quickly for you and you can still manage to get around to the things you want . It is a good chance to get the jobs done on the mini you want but please resist all urges to sneak it out for a quick drive , coppers seem to have a knack for finding unlicensed drivers ....

Mudgee/Gulgong publishes all the court procedings and they prison/community service or fine at least four people a week for driving unlicensed, often in an unregistered car and also often associated with a positive RBT.

It actually has the police concerned and there a number of factors that lead to it.

I get breath tested on average about five times a year (each year) and I think it is madness to drive with out a licence because even if you ignore the legalities and fines, the risk of having an accident is high and once the insurance company finds out driving whilst disqualified then you are instantly wiped. Most accident victims end up costly about $200,000 and the system goes hunting that money from someone.

It will seem like it's going to be an eternity, especially with the first 2 weeks of bus trips
but you soon get used to it, and the time will be over before you know it.
Trust me, I know (and haven't yet learned from my mistakes).

Also if your car is to be off the road for the full 18 months, replace your brake fluid with a silicone based product. It's a bit more expensive, but will save you having to redo your brakes after moisture gets into the cylinders.
(if it's still going to get driven, forget about it)

You definately drive better when your older, but when I was your age I didn't believe it either.

Hehe something like that ... also you generally have to pay whilst you're being screwed... although if a RBT was to get you its your own fault... but that aside .... still a random quirky saying that me and my mates use frerequently for RBT's. Be careful every cop in NSW has one.

I once met a man who has a claim t fame that he regularly ran around the world a number of times before breakfast.

He was a research worker at the south pole at the time.
