Wat is MDU? Problem with me taking it anywhere is that Cairns is SO far away from anything. Id love to take it down to the Muster, but i dont really wanna trailer it for 2000klms to Brissy, and i WILL NOT TRUST any car transporter with it......

I would like to put it on show somewhere other then Cairns tho!!!

Pretty much the biggest show in Oz. We even have people coming from WA driving so cairns isn't such a hike for such a nice shitbox

There are talks of over 1500 mini's/mini people.

It would be nice, but there is no way in hell id drive my car there. Id need a new paint job by the time i got to Innisfail (1 hour sth of Cairns) thanks to our sh*t roads up here. Ive never even been to Sydney b4 or NSW in general.

Nice thought but just not possible. Id need an enclosed transporter maybe like a Pantec or something n id have to drive it down myself. Plus the weekend after is the Cairns Car Show, so the car needs to be spic n span for that.....

No Graham Russell stuff in this motor, runs a VP3 cam and modded head, had already re-built it when GR released his RE13 . It runs OK tho.

I wish i got some specs on my head and cam the that GR did. Still has the standard size valves in it, so its not to crazy. But the ports were still opened up quite a fair bit.

Did you trailer it up to the place you had the photoshoot?

Yeah bud, i had it wrapped in tissue paper on the trailer up there, i also organised the police to block the roads off so i didnt get any exhaust fumes from other cars on my car.

Im sure if u spent the amount of money that i did, and put in all the hours work that i did, put up with the dramas that i did over 5 years, then u probably wouldnt make a comment like that.

i would definately try bringing it down to MDU though, whatever the cost/time. I understand you being careful but what better way to appreciate it then taking it to such a massive show.

Nah, how far is it from Cairns to Sydney? Like 3000klms? Ive got a big car show here the following week anyways. Way to much hassle. Id have to drive for like 3days just to get there.......

Ta, cheers!!! Yeah it would be great to show it some where other then Cairns. But there is a lot of money/time/organising involved in transporting my car to Sydney.....

Im going to be pulling it off the road in September anyways, so that i can go over it entirely n get it ready for our local car show on the 28/29th October. This show was meant to be on in April but got postponed cause of Cyclone Larry.

Its kind of a shame that we really only have 1 decent car show up here like once every 2 years or so....

I think Steve (justminis) should get his Black S tidied up for the show also....!!!!! hint hint...
