the first scratch will be the worst for sure!!

I was concerned about the offset, but after seeing them I am sure it's perfect for spaced drums.

Bring one around. I got 2 cars with Honda brakes already... U can try it on to make sure, then sleep at night! :P

So did they fit without spacers?

They look nice, exactly the same as my performance wheels that fit my old mini without any spacers required.

They look the same as Josh (Mini Mad)'s, I tried his wheels on his 9" Hondas with the spacers taken off, yes they fitted.

Yeah Oz, I measured the back on Josh's and they will fit with early (flat) drums.

This all supposes they are the same wheels.. hey Mini Mad, what are yours for sure?

i WOULD NOT advise you to drive with these tyres, if you are a bit of a "crazy" or lets say fast cornering driver.. i bought the same set from tempe tyres about a year ago, i wacked them on soon as i got home , and went for a bit of a drive...

now the tyres are 70 series.. and thin as, when commin into a corner, braking hard, i found that the front and rear end wobbles a crap load, the car felt like going sideways everytime.. conering, well, body roll is a joke, and handling is draticaly reduced... but, there easier to get sideways with the handbrake, and chirping 3rd isnt a problem

i didnt mind them, but im ditching them and getting some 165's..

have fun with them 8)

my mate fitted these to his 78 clubby (with flat drums ) and they required a 6mm spacer to clear the shock. confusion ended ;)

i bought that exact set for my minivan (you wil need spacers to clear the shocks at the rear)
$775 for the set inc. delivery from NSW to WA (and came with wheel nuts)

mine have 165 falkens on them and she corners like.. like.. oh yeah is all i can say (cant wait till my hilos arrive)

they are cooper offset meaning you need stepped drums to fit em in (with arches) 145s might just clear but the 165 hit the shocks before i even tightened up the nuts.. so i bought a new set of drums and shoes all round, car stops better now too. (i know the shoes are the same but mine were toast and i din wanna root my new drums)

all i need now is some hondas and hilos

Looking at the two pix side by side I think the offstes are different on my performace wheels thaht's probably why they fit the rear drums without spacers on my &* clubbie (yeah yeah, it's a round nose conversion - btut it was still a 78 clubbie) see closet clubbie lover.

Am I getting this correct...Anton you got the wheels with 145's....see if you can change them for 165's a wider foot print on the tarmac and better for corners....you got 12's so I think you can got down in profile also...from 70 to 65/60ish

I've read that sentence about 4 times and its late so I might have this wrong... but I think you mean:

With non-stepped drums, 165's hit the shocks before you tighten up the nuts. 145's might fit but you can't confirm?

Assuming you have stepped drums (or honda discs with no spacer -- according to Kev they are the same track), will they be legal without flares?

dewey
PS: miniVan -- Looking at your avatar I thought you had some wikkid paint job... like some chamelion jobbie or something.... hehe my bad.
