i think its a top idea! for the cash thing 2 things come to mind...

1. if you open up a new acocunt it will have to be declared to c'link/tax dept, as it counts as cash in your posession and potentially earns interest. this leads me to think that if everyone was to send you say 5 or 10 bux in the mail. but thats not safe. so unless you have it transferred to your account, then withdraw it straight away.

2. i forgot it but i think i included it in number 1, so its ok.

the parts thing is also a top idea, we've got a ew donatable arts floating around here em if you need...
