be careful with those ones on ebay....

they are not metallic tints and hence after a few years, will go purple on you...sometimes even after a few months it will start, depending on ow long ur car stays in the sunlight....

its the dyed one's that go purple u wanna stay away from, the newer metallic type is what u want but not for a rear or side window tat might have a flat winscreen type antenna that looks like a demister (like the new ford's have)....it stuffs up ur reception!

Hey boost, which new ford's have those bloody things?? I had to replace a windscreen in one car that had the antenna in the FRONT windscreen. How much do ya reckon they paid each time they broke one??

not sure exaclty which models but my uncle has one and it's definitely in the rear....the antenna doesnt actually get stuffed or shorted like some poeple say....it actually just reduces the ability of the atenna to pick up any frquencies cause the magnetic film in the tint reflects it all...

in MOST cases, if u put the tint on the antenna, you can get it taken off and there will be no prob with reception.....just some sticking glue on your winscreen for a long while :x
