well i got a little creative and got follded up bits of an empty beer can to take up the slack round the rim of the lens, then i put it back on and it's still pointing at the ground, so i used the adjusting screw? at the top of the light but even with it screwed right in the top of the low-beam level is still pointing at the ground only now about 10m in front instead of 2m,

is the only way to get a better angle from the light to stick more spacers where the lens is held in?

Drive your car up against a wall.

Mark, with two little spots of tape, the centre of each headlight on the wall.

Reverse the car 5 metres, and it should look like this on low beam.

Go for a little drive and see how it goes at night, just to be sure you aren't blinding anyone. The left light should light up the gutter, the right one should be in your lane.
