You got to wonder about some people - a couple of times on long hauls I've pulled over to get a quick cat nap in the middle of the night - interesting how many cars slow down till they see someone in the car - even had a car backup once and the passenger started to get out till I sat up then they took off.

That round about is a funny one. It's shape like an Egg, You can take it from one side at 60kpm, but on the other side you have to be really carefull as you kind of hit the top of the Egg(if that make sence)

He is not the first one to get cought in this round about, I have sseen 6 or 7 car laying in the grass where is car was.

I am convince to this day that the council employee who build the round about where drunk, there is no other explanation for a egg about.

the idea of the offset roundabout was to get people to pay more attention to the road, and slow the traffic down in one direction. where i live theres about 10 or so of these offset roundabouts and people go flying off them all the time, not an uncommon sight.

Although the road is a wierd shape it's still you're responsibility to be able to read the road and drive to the conditions.

If you were perhaps going slower would it not have happened?

There are two sides to every story - and no doubt i might have possibly done the same thing and many other's obviously have - the fact is though, hundreds more have made it through there without any dramas

The einsteins who design...no thats not right...slap together some of these traffic calming measures should be shot

There is a 2 million dollar fiasco in Canberra where a large semi literally fell over the day it was opened (yes..big off camber!!).

rant over... :D
