Pretty much, yeah.. its marketed value is to prevent the car being towed away without break-in.

edit: And getting a text to say your car is being towed is much more useful that simply having an alarm sound :).

man that sucks, sounds like the pub is bad news for the mini, is there anywhere a little more discrete that she can be parked when your at work to make her less of a target? that really sucks.

..... and the soft headed civil libertarians don't like CCTV.... well perhaps they don't have interesting cars (that seem to get targeted just because they were made). I never thought Minis would be targetted as much as they seem to be - auto theft / vandalism, etc.

I found the moment my cars had shiny paint and clean windows the authorities suddenly took notice and the police made an effort. :roll:

either way something always happens...


and to make things worse there are absolutely no cameras around the carpark...
