I've been looking for one of those for years cush.... thanks ;)

I reckon that car stood up extremely well - the passenger area has barely been impacted

minis being so small fare well in most types of accidents, they're light so when hit they tend to bounce off, when rolled or impacting something else, the small structure is very rigid and stays more or less intact....

Dont bet your life on it  okay, so they dont seem to roll as easily, but they can definitely flip...... most of the roll over accidents end up with bent roofs and no side panel damage, simply because the wheels grab on something and throw the car over onto its lid.

A low centre of gravity doesnt mean much when the wheel track is so narrow

I know a few people who can prove that point.....

Haha, thread resurrection!

You guys will be glad to hear that now I have my little baby- she may not drive yet, but it's the thought that counts :D

My mum told me I should paint it the same colour as her chev and park them next to each other for shits and giggles. Then again, she was trying to get me to buy a Morris.

Haha hell no. Dad's paranoid I'm going to be squished by a semi  I've been looking for a 1275, but I think I'll stick with the 1100 for now.
