anyone know of this place?

I bought my Mini-Matic from there in the early 90's - It was around the Caringbah area south of Sydney round the back of taren Point Road off Captain Cook Drive if I remember. He had a workshop shed with 6 or 8 Minis for sale in there, and we took the Mini- Matic for a couple of grand as the future Wife couldn't drive a manual car!

I see repro Ford and Holden dealer stickers are readily available but not BMC. I wouldn't mind finding out how much art work costs to do one but then everyone would want the correct one for their car so maybe not enough would be sold to make it viable.

There is a fella in one of the P76 clubs that is possibly taking orders for Leyland dealer stickers. I think he may have a few right to go and could reproduce some more from good photos.
I'll make some inquiries. Hopefully he can help a few of us out.

He has never replyed to me...

I haven't heard from him for a while either.
He, right in with the P76 club so may have been busy with the 40th celebrations. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but I think a few people are waiting for replies...

I'll send him one myself, and see what happens.

I am onto an english company that specialises in dealer stickers to get one made for my local dealer, I have never seen a BMC dealership sticker from them, (BP service station St George) so I am just going to grab a random one, and see if they can change it..

got this done, I have never seen a BMC BP St George one, so we had this made up.. www.classiccapsules.co.uk did it up for me, they will do others but not just one or two, so we would have to do a few of them before they are willing to do a repro one.. Or obviously enough $$ would do it

Love it. I would like to see a picture of it on a car. Can they still do the clear bits where they were clear or is it a white background only these days with vinyl? There would surely be a market if someone started doing old style water slide transfers again.

The mini world car centre was a favourite of ours in the shire through the 80's it was in Cawarra rd at Taren Pt /Caringbah , in the 70's he was based in Denman Ave Woolaware , he was known as something else then and I can't think what it was. We bought a lot of bits there.

Oh, and one more thing Brett, can he do it as an inside window sticker? It would last a lot longer that way I would think.

I have a reply email from James.

Hi Damien,

The dealer stickers are progressing well. We have recently manufactured the stickers for Sparco’s in Hobart and Slattery Leyland in Sale, Victoria.
I was pretty certain that I had replied to all of the emails that have been sent to me, it is possible that my children may have deleted some by accident though. Could you ask everyone who has not heard back from me to email myself again or contact me by phone. My mobile number is 0408 918 127.
I will add a second Lane’s sticker to your order as well as the 2 x Schuberts stickers.
As I mentioned before, my supplier is doing this as a labour of love so we have to be patient as it may take a while to get to every bodies orders. The next sticker to be made is Larke Hoskins, which had many sites around Sydney metro area.

Kind Regards

James

Got an email a few months back confirming my order but haven't heard since and now I cant find his email address. Will have to keep searching and hope the project is still under way. Anyone had any luck and does anyone have his email address? Brett, how did your UK sticker turn out?
