You're absolutely right, you can get new front ones from the UK cos they were a common Item with their far less exciting 1275GT's.... BUT... the boot badges are different, they were only available on aussie GT's. Occassionally a batch of sticker ones start doing the rounds but the original ones a are embosed, not a sticker. It would be nice though hey! :D then "Knobs" like me wouldn't need to spend hundreds on them!

Seriously though, not having a go at anyone, it pi$$es me off to that sleez bay does nothing but accelerate the rate of inflation on these items.

But when you need it you need it. And if that makes me a knob, well, I guess I'm a knob with a genuine boot badge... SUCKERS!!!

But still, I'm not jabbing at anyone so lets all take a chill pill and remember that motor cars aren't a cheap hobby. When you love something you love it, and you'd do anything for it. Unlike a Girlfriend or a wife, your car isn't going to dump you after you've spent $1,000's, and whinge when your covered in CV grease or smell like kero!!! But I'm going to stop right there before the mrs catches me

Take care everyone

falcon gt's are in my opinion the biggest rip off in the car world..

The rip off goes a bit deeper than most people realise...
The Phase 3s that sold for over $600,000 were bought by personal super funds as investements. It is a clever scam.
They used auctions to artificially inflate the price of the Phase 3s.

It will be a long while before one sells for that much again.

I have one already and imho, they're shite when compared to the ridgy didge ones. Same goes for the new "S" badges for the Leyland Mini S. When you compare a new one side by side with a genuine one is when you see and feel the difference. The new ones can be bent and twisted with virtually no force whereas the genuine one's are tuff as and you'd probably break it before you bent it.

Oh yeah, and the paint flakes off the new one's if you so much as breath on them wrong :x

Just my fussiness coming through I guess but that's just me

cheers,
Skender.
