I got the repaired caliper back from Brabond brakes..
They did an awesome job!
I installed them and flushed them and they are perfect.. I only have to move the brake pedal down 2cm for it to bite in..
I just need to get my pressure activated stop light to work again.

I ended up doing a mixture of drip bleeding and pipe into a jar bleeding.. My $90 vacuum brake bleeder did not seem up to the job.

It only took 8+ bottles of brake fluid..

Dude.... Learn how to bleed brakes... 8 bottles of fluid and a 90 dollar whatsit is a much more expensive way then asking a mate to push the brake pedal down then up for a few minutes....

There is no one at home to ask...
I know how to bleed brakes.. It's just one caliper decided to crap its self and got that repaired.. bled brakes and then then the other caliper decided to crap its self... and blah blah.... or else i could of done a whole flush on 3-4 bottles..

A wife inside the car pumping on the brake pedal works better, but cost A LOT MORE!

Those hydraulic brake light switches are unreliable new, God knows who makes em now but it's no longer Lockheed.
I got 3 months out of one and 3 weeks out of another.
I'd convert it to use a pedal operated switch, a la late Clubby. 8)

And you intend to actually drive this thing on the road?

Why are you persisting on stuffing around with brakes?
You should do them properly or leave it parked.

You said in another post that the calliper seals were ok and now you say the callipers had shavings in them. What do you think that will do to the seals? You might think it is Ok but I don't? Even blasting the outside of the callipers will stuff the seals.
No it is all fine, just drive the damn thing and kill someone. Who gives a fiddle sticks anyway.

I was only passing on information from 2 different companies that deal with brakes.. I am taking their work on the condition of the brakes.

Whats done is done.
I am not going to spend any more money on them if they work fine for now..
You are more than happy to buy me a set of new 4 pot calipers if that makes you feel safer on the road.
