Hey guys sorry I haven't been on been way to busy so the story is was traveling home prob sitting on 120kmph max and next thing I no a cop sitting behind a tree gets me with his radar gun and pulls me over. Claims I was doing 174 kmph I giggled and said I wish I could go that's fast he showed me the radar gun which said 174 I said your gun is busted he fined me and was on his way :( but he only put me down for under 30 so I keep me licence so I have no idea will fight it and c what I can do

The point was he claims I was doing 174 when my car clearly can't go that fast that's the point

So you admit a certain speed, get fined for that speed but expect to win :?

Unless you could get a tape recording of the conversation where he says you were doing 174 and then also prove your car wont do that speed I would imagine you wont have a leg to stand on.

They generally record your conversation you have with the police officer these days and they will tell you this. This was the case with me.

It appears he was detected via lidar which is a very different animal.
