The Cooper S engine was imported built up from the UK, so you can get the rocker cover and air cleaner box from UK or Australia

There’s lots of good photos and info here

Unfortunately the plate was lost.

However, I was able to see some numbers on the radiator.

Do you know what?

Looks like a MK1 radiator shroud.

What numbers are below the circled M2 stamp? (Mini Minor M2/04) or (Deluxe M2/05) or (MK1 S M2/06)

What numbers are circled on the right?

Ignore the left side stampings. They are not original

These are also restamped. They are too big and too spaced out

Hello

I'm sorry that I posted it while I was out the other day, so it's a continuous post and I can't upload images.

Thank you, everyone.
There were various opinions,
I'm sure my MINI is definitely an Australian mk-1.
(It is not known whether it is the body of 1275S)

However, I made a hypothesis because the interior is mk-2.

It was a mini made in January-April 1969, close to the last mk-1.
The mk-1 parts did not remain, so I installed the mk-2 parts.

this book australian mini page It was said on the above that since January 1969, there is no plate and it is directly stamped on the radiator.

What do you think of my guess?

Need to see a photo of the firewall to confirm it is a Mk1 body.

A 1968 - 1969 MK1 with later wipers will have a chassis number as follows

Does the rocker cover of mk1 1275S have no breather pipe?
