changed the oil(well 50% fuel) out of my matic, and tried to put a new fuel pump on. Then realised that it needs a spacer, got a spacer, tried to put it on again, got it all on, still wo'nt pump fuel. Cracked the sads and pushed the car into the garage. Will try again when im sane.

Just bolted on the engine (sump) ends of the lower engine steady brackets that I forgot to do when putting the box together

Checked out the speedo cable and decided I need a whole new one. (casing is cracked and you can see the inner cable turning at a number of points)

Stood and looked at it for an hour while contemplating stripping it down to a rolling shell and getting it painted...... couldn't decide what colour tho so went back inside and wondered why this car is doing my head in so much.

I know, I just like to have a vague idea where the road leads before I turn the corner.

You may just have to go round the corner first.

Today I put another coat of paint on the subframe I repaired yesterday. And I finished welding in the seat mounts for my MX5 seats in the Travelle"R". And I also played with my motorcycle for part of the day.

I rebuilt an Oz rack for 4myego's Cooper S resto.

Today I greased my car, including the knuckle joints. Grease nipple needle is a handy jigger. 8)
