Stupid auto correct, yes it is Acewell, model ace1500. I got it from S3performance.

Trial assembled a remote box with a different diff housing (coz i don't have original), then milled .015" off said diff housing and removed the 2 dowels, so it would fit properly. :P

I've decided to sell it  Image
Hmmm-It's hard to do this-What a Topic-"What did you do with your Mini Today".
I decided to start advertising it in the For Sale Section and I had a lot of difficulty hitting the Submit button. I know there will be a lot of you who know how I feel.

Went for a drive out the M2 to Seven Hills and ordered a car cover, then called in to see the doc :)
Then made it home just before the rain started

Went on the AHOC Brass Monkey run to Bathurst with about 200 others , I don't know how but I managed to be the first mini at Bathurst !!! But boy did it rain and the fog was very thick, by the time we had got home the car had changed colour there really is a lot of crap on the road.

Breathed in

Looked at it

Breathed out & watched my warm breath condense in the cold air

Sighed

Shut the shed & went back inside by the heater

....Maybe next time :(

Transplanted a Mk2S gearset from 1310/71's rodchange box into a remote one, so we don't need half a dozen engine steadies to stop the new 1377 stroker climbing out of my mate's `74 Clubby van. :P
So it'll have a decent gearchange system too. 8)

Thanks for the comment MG-Yes it is,and I have done all the years of hardship and bloody knuckles.I'm going to miss it-It's been a very long journey. But I have had some great experiences with the LS,from going to Hay with it-to touring around Tassie two years ago :D

Took the cover of the Cooper S  for the first time since Jan and found the tyres were not flat :)
replaced the choke cable, replaced the oil pressure relief spring to see if the oil pressure will drop, but it went higher up to 100lbs :? So put the old one back in as it only maxed out at 80lbs
Started the engine, yes it took a while, and ran it for 10 mins to warm it up. Need to now take it for a drive when the rain stops. Tightened up the oil filter as it was leaking, especially with the 100lbs pressure.
Replaced the brake pads with a new set of Greenstuff pads to hopefully stop the brakes squealing. Checked the front wheel bearings, still seem Ok as the car hasn't really been used much since I repacked them last year.
Next I need to replace the rear brake cylinders as they have started to weep.
