Took mine for a run around the block with my Dad. What a memory lane trip for him!! My oldie's wedding cars were 850s and they had two back when they were first married so Mum and Dad were all misty eyed today.

Worked out it is running well rich so I have to read up on Dellortos and when I put the clutch in the idle drops 200 rpm.

I love my new car!

Gave the bonnet, while still poor, a quick strip and more respectable coat of paint.

Painted and fitted new sump guard and rear tow hook.
Downgraded my petrol caps to non-locking versions
Played around some more with the hydro height,

Will fit some new gauges in the next couple of days.
Hopefully not long now till the engine is back!

Filled both tanks with BP98 (@$1.54/L, they call this cheap?!!) for Sunday's run, then hooked up the hydro pump and raised it to 3 fingers.
Now Adamstuart's Moke might have a sporting chance of keeping up on corners. 8)
