Keeping it as a matic? or is it a parts/donor?

I hate to say it but it looks to badly damaged to restore :( . The sub frame has been pushed back into the firewall, the passenger sill is kinked and the windscreen surround is deformed. So it'll probably just become parts unfortunately.

Pulled out the heater. Now I have acres of legroom and love it.

Seems cooler in the cab after a short drive and the engine didn't run any hotter, but I will have to see what its like on a longer drive before I decide whether it will stay out or be replaced with a smaller aftermarket unit.

Got my recond Clubby van's radiator back from Blacktown radiators.
$90, cheaper than a newie and looks like a bought one... 8)

My mate Laingy had one there to fix too but it needs a recore, prices start at ~$400 and go up depending on which core type you buy. Not worth it, so he's now going to buy a new Minispares 2 core rad instead.

dismantled the steering
and relpaced the internal shaft
as it had worn out the bottom spline.
some one had replaced it badly only to find out the new shaft is longer :( then found out there are 2 different lenghts :?
so removed it again :(
and built up a matching set and put it all back again
will have to pull it out again as the ignition switch is dodgy. :(
